What should i do!!!!!!!?

i accidently hit a sprinkler head with the lawnmower and my stepdad is going to be pissed! but in my defence it was dark outside and there was a lot of dirt covering my view. this will be the second time he has had to replace a sprinkler head. he will ground me if he finds out or he will make me buy one. what should i do!
