What kind of oil do i use for my push lawnmower? How do I change the oil?

I have a push lawnmower..I don't know what kind though. What kind of oil should I use and how do I change the oil? I am a single mother and I usually hire someone to do my lawn but it is getting way to expensive every couple weeks. Can anyone help?
