Did Israel, ever apologize or compensate the families of those murdered on the USS Liberty, by Israeli jets?

I'm not asking what happened, who was to blame or whether the Israeli's knew they where attacking an American ship. I'm just wondering whether Israel took responsibility and looked after, fianancially, the families of those killed? Which i think was 33 killed, by Israeli jets making passes of the ship, a number of times, and shooting it up and dropping bombs on it.
