For a one bedroom, gas, electric, and water will cost about 125 pounds per month. There's also a TV license fee of about 145 pounds per year. And homeowners are subject to a Council Tax as well, to pay for garbage collection and recycling costs, but I'm not sure if this gets passed on to renters as well.
