Dad "took" xbox so I took his tv?

Okay so we don't have cable, but we do have netflix which we use MY xbox ( I payed for every cent) to put it on the tv. Which if you have an xbox you know you need xbox live gold to do that ( which I also payed for).......so I was grounded from xbox because I am behind in school ( but working really hard to catch up) but he dosent believe me. So I took the power cord to MY xbox, now he's mad at be because he can't watch Netflix... Am I in the wrong here? Also I am 16yo boy, mows the lawn ( pays for the gas (. It's my lawnmower that I payed for)) does the dishes too, and works 8hrs a day over the summer
