Can I sabotage my neighbor's lawnmower because he decided to mow the lawn while my son is sleeping?

My 14 month old son is just getting over a cold and is sleeping more than usual to make up for the missed sleep from waking up and coughing through out the night, so it's not his usual naptime. But my neighbor has the world's loudest lawn mower. I'm afraid he'll wake up my baby every time he gets close to our house. Yes, my over protective mom instincts are taking over.
